Painting
Here at Northern Contracting we specialize in painting with only the highest quality product available. We have attached just a few of our references from paint suppliers for your assurances… please see attached documentation.
Northern Contracting has extensive experience in all aspects of painting, from Commercial, Residential and High-Rise Buildings to New Construction and Remodels.

Interior Painting
- Our high quality painters have the skill and expertise to meet your interior painting needs.

Exterior Painting
You must power wash before painting. All homes have a layer of dirt, mildew, etc., that can only be removed by 2,000 to 3,000 psi power washing. Common sense tells you not to paint on a dirty surface.
Repairs - All loose paint must be removed. We do this the old-fashioned way by hand. You must have a tight, primable surface. If you need any repairs prior to painting, we have skilled personnel to handle most minor repairs.
Priming - After the power washing and scraping, all exposed wood must be primed to properly accept the new paint. We use oil-based primer because it soaks into the wood, providing a sound foundation for adhesion of the new finish coat. Primer is used to seal stains as well.
Caulking - We caulk all windows and entrances which helps reduce air flow in these areas. All major joints are caulked as well.
Painting - After power washing, scraping, priming, and caulking, we do not start cutting corners now. We use only premium paints.
Pressure Cleaning
Here at Northern Contracting we pressure wash surfaces with a high-volume, high pressure commercial grade pressure washer capable of sustaining continuous pressure of 2,000 to 3,000 psi.
